PAT NICHOLS
Pat Nichols supports schools in the development of small learning communities during the planning year. She works with school staff to develop master schedules and staffing plans that expand opportunities for the new communities.
During almost two decades as an administrator, Pat was responsible for developing and implementing overall school design at traditional and year-round middle schools and high schools. In addition to strong organizational skills, she brings her experiences as a teacher and counselor to all her work. She began working with IRRE as a School Improvement Facilitator in the Los Angeles Unified School District, where she helped large urban schools restructure into small learning communities.
Pat holds master’s degrees in education, counseling and administration from the University of Southern California and the California State Universities.
