MARY STEVENS

Mary manages First Things First sites in Austin, Texas. Previously, she taught physical education and coached in the Klein (TX) Independent School District and served as an instructional group supervisor, magnet supervisor and assistant principal in the Houston Independent School District. Mary is Administrator of the Law and Justice Small Learning Community at Lee High School, which has been implementing First Things First for several years.

Mary holds a bachelor's degree from SUNY - Brockport and a master's in physical education from Ithaca College. She also holds certifications as a professional Texas mid-management administrator PK-12 from Texas Southern University and a PK-12 certification in health/physical education.
