LOIS K. ARIOLI

Lois Arioli works with the IRRE planning-year team to create small learning communities and to ensure they are staffed equitably and students and teachers are scheduled according to their needs and certifications. She works side by side with school staff to match students and faculty with the right small learning communities and to help schedulers new to small learning communities learn how to create effective schedules for each community and for the school as a whole. At Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, Kansas – the first high school to implement First Things First – Lois held positions as the scheduling coordinator and the head guidance counselor. She began her education career as a psychology teacher at Rosedale Junior-Senior High School in Kansas City, Kansas.

Lois holds a master’s degree in education and counseling psychology from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
